Aaron Fowler, President
Aaron has more than 15 years of management experience in the mortgage/finance and appraisal industry. Aaron has worked in various sectors of the finance industry including District Finance Manager for Enterprise Leasing and Internet Banking Team Lead for First Tennessee Bank. Prior to co-founding United States Appraisals, Aaron was a Regional Mortgage Banking Manager for Capital One Financial. Aaron’s primary role as CEO is to lead the valuation management team with a focus on diversifying United States Appraisals’ client portfolio, providing operational direction and inspiring a culture of excellence. Aaron received his Bachelor of Science from Graceland University.
Chris Purcell, Chief Financial Officer
Chris has over 18 years of experience in several industries including pharmaceutical, institutional investing, telecommunications, software development, government and the housing market. Throughout his career, Chris has acquired expertise in all financial and accounting aspects of each industry as well as extensive knowledge in software management and reporting. In addition to his financial reporting responsibilities, Chris is instrumental in Appraisal Management Licensing at the state level. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree for Accounting from Rockhurst University in 1993 and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Management in 1997. Chris is very active in his children’s school, including volunteering as the treasurer plus coaching various sports. He also spends time volunteering in community activities such as Habitat for Humanity and Harvesters.
Robbie Wilson, MBA, CREI, RPA – Chief Appraiser Consultant
Robbie has been a certified residential appraiser since 1992. Robbie provides United States Appraisals with a depth of experience that is unmatched in the appraisal management industry. Committed to achieving the highest designations in the industry, Robbie is an Appraisal Qualifications Board Certified USPAP Instructor, a designation held only by ½ of 1% of all appraisers. His extensive work for the GSEs includes: default portfolio disposition valuation and management, FHA loss mitigation, loan repurchase valuation, forensic appraisal and fraud detection, national appraisal review, dispute resolution valuation, market analytics and trend analysis, appraisal compliance and litigation support. He has been designated a Certified Real Estate Instructor for the Texas Real Estate Teachers Association. Robbie has earned a BBA in real estate and an MBA in business finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Richard Garrie – Chief Appraiser
Richard has over seventeen years of residential valuation experience. Prior to joining United States Appraisals, Richard spent eight years as a branch manager with Forsythe Appraisals, LLC. Initially hired to launch Forsythe’s first Florida branch in Orlando, he developed and implemented the policies and procedures to successfully launch branches in Tampa and Las Vegas. Richard spent seven years as a senior appraiser at Ritter Appraisals, also developing marketing strategies and utilizing his technology skills to convert the day-to-day operations into an automated platform. He served as a staff appraiser in the Cass County MO Assessor’s Office and briefly ran his own appraisal company. Richard is FHA certified and was the first appraiser in the country certified in the Collateral Valuation Report. He is a certified CVR instructor. Richard works with Washington, D.C. law firms Ballard Spahr, LLP and Patton Boggs, LLP to maintain our full compliance with all regulatory appraisal guidelines. Prior to entering the appraisal profession, Richard spent four years in the United States Air Force.
John Robinson, Sr. Vice President – Recruiting
John has more than 20 years’ experience in leading diversified sales teams and recruiting for several leading organizations. Prior to joining United States Appraisals in 2007, John was a Regional Mortgage Banking Manager for Capital One Financial. He also spent five years leading a very successful internet lending division of First Tennessee Bank. John provides United States Appraisals with recruiting, training, client relations and operations support. John honed many of his valuable skills as district manager in the recruiting division of Enterprise Rent-a-Car where he was challenged with staffing and managing multiple rental locations. His talent for attracting the nation’s best appraisers is critical to our success. John has a Bachelor of Arts from Missouri State University.
Brad Summers, Sr. Vice President – Marketing
Brad directs all of United States Appraisals’ marketing and public relations initiatives. With over five years of direct marketing experience in the mortgage industry with NovaStar Mortgage and another four years specifically in the appraisal management space with StreetLinks Lender Solutions, he brings a broad understanding of all aspects of the lending cycle. Brad has worked closely with MBA, NAMB, ABA, CUNA and TAVMA as a member and partner. He has also worked with multiple state agencies in developing and coordinating AMC registration rules. Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Central Missouri.
